In this one-of-a-kind, seven-session course, you'll explore the fascinating and enigmatic story behind this iconic document. Through deep analysis and discussion, you’ll uncover the surprising complexity behind what many think they already know.

Attendance at all 7 classes is essential to fully understand the progression of material and discussion.

Rabbi Uri Barnea PhD

Uri Barnea

A native of Israel and naturalized U.S. citizen, Uri Barnea is a musician as well as an ordained rabbi. Along with college courses in music, he also took classes in Biblical and Jewish studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem (B.A.) and the University of Minnesota (M.A. and Ph.D.).

He is fluent in Biblical, medieval, and modern Hebrew, and has a basic knowledge of Aramaic and Yiddish. He has taught courses in the Old Testament for over 15 years.
